Interested in rhododendrons?..... then consider joining the American Rhododendron Society. Membership includes automatic enrollment in the Midwest Chapter where you will meet people with similar interests and a fond appreciation of rhododendrons.
Members receive four issues of the colorful and informative Journal of the American Rhododendron Society, a national annual meeting and convention as well as access to the ARS seed exchange and pollen bank.
The Midwest Chapter has four yearly meetings, a combined plant sale and truss show as well as other activities such as garden visits and social functions. The chapter also publishes The Rootball News, a colorful newsletter with chapter news and activities.

The Midwest Chapter has a Plant Society Membership in the Chicago Botanic Garden. In addition to the benefits accruing to the Chapter as a whole, individual Chapter members can apply for personal memberships in CBG at a $10 discount on any of the levels of membership in the Garden.
Whether you join CBG on a personal level or not, keep in mind that whenever you attend a Chapter event at CBG, such as one of our quarterly meetings or the annual Rhododendron Show & Plant Sale, the daily $15 parking fee is waived when you declare your CBG membership to the parking attendant.
